The approval follows President Tinubu’s recent appointments, announced on June 2, 2023, by State House Director of Information Abiodun Oladunjoye. These include:

  • Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, as Chief of Staff.
  • Senator George Akume, former Benue State Governor and Minister of Special Duties, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
  • Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as Deputy Chief of Staff.

These appointments were disclosed during a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum, signaling Tinubu’s early administrative restructuring.
