Netflix, Inc. has announced the appointment of prominent African entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa, the Chairman and founder of Econet Group, to its Board of Directors.
The appointment was disclosed in an official press release published on the company’s website, highlighting Netflix’s ongoing commitment to global diversity and strategic leadership.
Netflix Welcomes Masiyiwa’s Visionary Leadership
Netflix Co-founder, Chairman, and Co-CEO Reed Hastings expressed enthusiasm about the new addition to the board, stating:

Who Is Strive Masiyiwa?
Strive Masiyiwa is a globally recognized telecoms and tech pioneer.
He is the founder and executive chairman of Econet Group, which operates in the telecommunications and digital services space across 29 countries in Africa and Europe.
