The Nigerian Army has published the list of shortlisted candidates for the Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 49/2026. Eligible applicants can now check their status on the official recruitment portal.

When and Where to Report
All successful candidates must arrive at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Ribadu Campus (Old Site), Kaduna State.
- Date: Sunday, December 1, 2025
- Time: Screening from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Tip: Travel to Kaduna by Saturday, November 30, to avoid delays
Late arrivals after 11:00 a.m. will be disqualified without exception.

- The Army is not responsible for any injuries or deaths during the screening due to its demanding nature
- Parents or guardians must provide a court-stamped Letter of Consent, agreeing not to seek compensation for incidents
- No private vehicles or visitors allowed on site
- High discipline required – misconduct leads to instant ejection
- The Army will cover food and accommodation, but you pay for your travel to Kaduna
