Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, popularly known as Qdot, was attacked by armed robbers at his Lagos residence in the early hours of September 28, 2025.

According to reports, the assailants stormed his home around 2:30 a.m., held him at gunpoint and carted away several valuable items.

Items Taken and Security Breach

The criminals allegedly stole phones, laptops, and also gained access to Qdot’s bank accounts and social media platforms.

The compromised accounts have raised fears of scams, prompting his team to warn fans against responding to suspicious posts or money requests.

Manager Issues Warning

Qdot’s manager, Dami Adenuga, confirmed the incident on X (formerly Twitter), urging followers to stay vigilant.

“Robbers stole Qdot’s devices, emptied his accounts, and accessed his social media. Please disregard any fake messages,” Adenuga wrote.

About Qdot

Born in Ikorodu, Lagos, on April 30, Qdot is known for blending Yoruba rap with Afrobeats and Fuji.

Since his 2010 breakout track “Story of My Life,” he has produced hits such as “Alomo Meta” and “Gbese,” earning a devoted street audience.

Rising Crime Against Artists

The incident mirrors a spate of attacks on Nigerian entertainers, including the robbery of artist Lil Kesh in Lagos in August 2025.

It underscores mounting security risks for celebrities and public figures in the city.

Police Yet to Comment

As of now, Lagos State Police Command has not released an official statement. Fans and colleagues have been sending messages of support to Qdot, wishing him a quick recovery from the ordeal.

Call for Better Security

Industry watchers are calling for improved protection measures for artists. While Qdot remains resilient, the incident highlights the growing security challenges facing Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
