The first-ever Nigeria Maritime Golf Challenge will swing into action on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938 Golf Course.
The event is set to host 81 golfers from across the country in celebration of World Maritime Day on September 25.

Initiated by QUBES LLC, the tournament aims to shine a spotlight on Nigeria’s maritime sector by using golf as a platform for awareness and collaboration.
According to CEO Lanre Bayewu, the competition reflects the theme “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity,” promoting the sector’s role in national growth while encouraging networking among professionals.

The challenge is designed as a one-day competition with seven skill divisions, welcoming both maritime professionals and golf enthusiasts.
Winners in each category will receive trophies and cash prizes, making it attractive to newcomers and seasoned players alike.
