Team Nigeria Goes All In
Training camp opened Monday at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. Federation President Kayode Ladele says the squad has been grinding for months and is hungry to live up to their top-ranked status.
“We’re the team to beat, and we know it,” Ladele declared. “Pressure? Yes. But we’re ready to defend our position and bring home gold.”
Backed by Strong Support
Ladele thanked the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria and the National Sports Commission for their full backing, calling the collaboration “the reason this historic event is happening.”
For the next nine days, Abeokuta becomes the centre of African para-sport and Nigeria wants the world to remember who ruled it.
