Organizers announced on Friday that football fans traveling to the Africa Cup of Nations will receive AFCON 2025 free e-visas. This new policy is a major benefit for supporters. Furthermore, it applies specifically to citizens from countries that normally require a visa to enter Morocco.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee announced the move. This decision comes amid surging global interest and high demand for tickets to Africa’s biggest football event.
A Streamlined Process via YALLA App
CAF confirmed the details in an official statement. “Supporters can now obtain free electronic visas to enter Morocco through the YALLA app,” the statement read.
The tournament will run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
How to Get Your AFCON 2025 Free E-Visa
To enter Morocco and access venues, fans must secure two essential documents:
-
A Fan Identification (Fan ID)
-
An E-Visa (for nationals who require one)
CAF emphasized that the Fan ID is compulsory. Consequently, fans will require it for access to all stadiums and official Fan Areas.
Organizers have integrated the entire process into the YALLA app. This means supporters can complete their Fan ID registration and e-visa request simultaneously. Therefore, this system creates “a faster, easier and secure experience.”
Application Steps
Organizers urge fans planning to attend to begin the process immediately:
-
Download the App: First, get the YALLA app from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or the official website.
-
Register for Fan ID: Next, fill out the mandatory Fan ID form.
-
Request E-Visa: After that, if your citizenship requires it, submit the e-visa request directly in the app.
-
Buy Tickets: Finally, once organizers approve your Fan ID and e-visa (if needed), you can purchase match tickets on the official CAF platform.
A Secure Fan Experience
CAF stated these measures will deliver a “seamless, secure fan experience” for the showcase event.
Morocco is hosting the tournament for the first time since 1988. As a result, the event will feature 24 national teams competing in nine stadiums across six host cities.
