The Federal Government (FG) has earmarked N394.699 million for the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to fund various projects, including:
- Purchase of official and monitoring vehicles: N250 million (ongoing project)
- Establishment and management of employee wellness centres (gyms): N28.25 million
- Purchase of office equipment, including 100 2HP air conditioners: N167.074 million (new project)

As part of the 2023 Appropriation Bill, the OHCSF is set to receive over N12.698 billion in total. Breakdown includes:
- OHCSF core allocation: N8.39 billion (with N1.95 million as capital, zero retained independent revenue)
- Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board: N392.56 million (with N1.95 million capital, zero retained revenue)
- Administrative Staff College of Nigeria: N1.69 million (with N675 million retained revenue and N107.22 million as capital; overhead: N105.77 million)
- Bureau of Public Service Reforms: N449.2 million (capital: N105.71 million; zero independent revenue)
- Public Service Institute of Nigeria: Over N1 million (capital: N382.81 million; zero internally generated revenue)
Role of OHCSF
The OHCSF oversees the leadership, management, and capacity development of the Federal Civil Service, which serves as the engine of governance and the administrative machinery for implementing the federal government’s policies and programmes.
